Burleson- Carleeta Miller, 91, passed away October 28, 2012, in Fort Worth. Service: 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 1, 2012 at First United Methodist Church of Burleson. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Carleeta was born July 3, 1921, in Independence, Iowa to Oscar E. and Frances Compagna Swanson. She loved fishing for Redfish, going to South Padre Island and the beach. Carleeta was an avid bridge player. She loved singing and music. Survivors: daughter, Kathy Stewart and husband, Bill of Fort Worth; Son, Jack Miller and wife, Heather of Burleson; Sister, Mary Jo Sparks and husband, Jerry of Belton; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
