Carol Nan Prigmore Rodgers

Carol Nan Prigmore Rodgers, 78, of Joshua, a retired engineering senior administrator, died Friday March 26, 2010 in Joshua. Funeral: 2pm Tues. March 30, 2010 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 pm Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Carol was born July 3, 1931 in Dallas to Carl Taylor and Mamie Alyne Smith Prigmore. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Carol was a member of G.D.R.A. Astronomy Club and a member of Eastern Star. After retirement, she and her husband L.G. moved to Godley and they enjoyed farming and ranching. After L.G.'s death, she expanded her interests into donkeys, horses, goats, and rescuing cats and dogs. Carol was preceded in death by her husband L.G. in 2004; parents and grandparents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of Cleburne or to Elijah's Retreat at 257 CR 3110 Jacksonville, TX 75766 or your local animal shelter. Survivors: Daughter, Barbara West of Joshua; son, Michael Rodgers and wife Donna of Houston; grandchildren, Brandy West of Burleson, Michelle Rodgers of Houston, Kristina Larsen and husband Stian of Norway; extended family and friends.
