JOSHUA -- Carolyn Gayle Brantley, 66, a homemaker, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Alvarado-Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Carolyn was born Oct. 10, 1939, in Alvarado to L.D. and Janie Mae Gayle Wade. She was a lifetime member of Alvarado Range Riders and a supporter of Alvarado Band Boosters. Carolyn loved her animals and her grandchildren, with whom she was very involved. Survivors: Husband of 15 years, James Brantley; daughter, Diane Hairston and husband, Randall, of Joshua; son, Bradley Johnson and wife, Mandi, of Alvarado; grandchildren, Justin Hairston of Joshua and Destiny and Cassidy Johnson of Alvarado; mother-in-law, Stella Brantley of Joshua; and mother, Janie Wade of Burleson.
