LUBBOCK -- Carolyn Kelly, 55, passed away Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, in Lubbock. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Carolyn was born Aug. 30, 1953, in Lubbock. She was a loving daughter, aunt and friend. While living in Lubbock she worked at James Avery Craftsman Jewlery and was a member of First Baptist Church. Carolyn loved scrapbooking, Christian music and being with her friends and doing things for them. Her doctor said she was the most valiant patient he had ever known. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gypsy Kelly, and grandparents, Clarence and Evelyn Cooper. Survivors: Father, J.D.
