Carroll Graves

Carroll Graves, 88, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019. SERVICE: 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, with Pastor Steve Beckwith officiating. INTERMENT: Burleson Memorial Cemetery. VISITATION: 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Carroll was born October 12, 1930, to W.A. and Jessie Graves in Ft. Worth, Texas. Four things Carroll loved. Jesus, family, sports and remodeling his home. Carroll was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and served as deacon in several different churches. He was involved in his community as first President of Burleson Quarterback Club, also coaching PeeWee football and youth baseball, along with city and church league softball. Later Carroll was passionate about followed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren in all their various activities and accomplishments. Near the end Carroll was very involved in Lions Club International. Carroll was a plumbing contractor, then worked at Corona South plumbing supply, and was the building inspector for the City of Burleson for the 18 years before his retirement.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by his children, Carey Beckwith and husband, Steve, of Burleson, Gary Graves and wife, Sharon, of Burleson and Dee Ferguson and husband, Scott, of Arlington; grandchildren, Jeremy Beckwith and wife, Leah, Callie Jones and husband, Josh, Jason Beckwith and wife, Elizabeth, Stefanie Beckwith, Kaylon Martin and husband, Will, Chris Graves and wife, Jordan, Casey Graves and wife, Katie, Chance Kidwell and wife, Mia, Heydon Ferguson, Scott Ferguson and wife, Kelly, and Tyler Ferguson; and 15 great-grandchildren.
