BURLESON -- Cecil Edmon Millsap, 83, a retired engineer, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, in Burleson. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Alsbury Baptist Church in Burleson. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cecil was born March 20, 1922, in Godley to Grover and Rachel Howe Millsap. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Millsap was a Christian man who loved hunting and fishing. He was a longtime member of Alsbury Baptist Church. Mr. Millsap was the recipient of the Purple Heart for his service during World War II. Survivors: Wife, Roxie Millsap of Burleson; son, Mike Millsap and wife, Beverly, of Walnut Springs; daughters, Sheila Rich and husband, Eddie, of Burleson and Cecilia Patterson and husband, Jamie, of Lewisville; granddaughters, Tracy Ashmore of Granbury, Vannessa Lambert of Irving, Shannon Hutton of Fort Worth and Suzel Garcia of Graham, N.C.; grandsons, Scott Stovall of Lewisville and Reagon Rich of Burleson; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Allen Millsap of Keene; loyal friend, Willie Blake of Crowley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
