Celestino Rodriquez

Celestino Rodriguez was born in Port Lavaca, Texas on September 4,1959 and passed away at home in Cleburne, Texas on December 26, 2020.

He was a 1979 graduate of DeLeon High School. After graduation he joined the Police Academy in Abilene, Texas. and went on to become a Police Officer and then Chief of Police in Lexington, Texas. After retirement, he enjoyed listening to music, going places and spending time with his large family.

He is survived by brothers, Charles Rodriguez Sr. and Linda of Bakersfield, Ca., Severo Rodriguez of Godley, Texas., David Rodriguez and Rhonda of Bakersfield, Ca., Ysidro Rodriguez of DeLeon, Texas., Richard Rodriguez and John Rodriguez of Cleburne, Texas. Sisters, Santos Sanchez of Colgate, Ohio, Minga Medrano and David of Sherman, Texas., Helen Solis and Nick of Plainview, Texas. and Elena Burns of Grandview, Texas, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Demencia Rodriguez of DeLeon, Texas., brother Primo Rodrigiez, sisters Estella Estrada, Timmie Alvarado and Mary Solis.
