BURLESON -- Celia Mae Easterling Simpson, 82, of Burleson, a retired hair dresser, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Celia was born Sept. 26, 1928, in Gray County to Henry Clyde and Lula Alma Gibson Easterling. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Celia loved pulling weeds and caring for her flowerbeds, working crossword puzzles and taking care of her pups, BooBoo and Shalee. Celia was also a huge Texas Rangers baseball fan. Survivors: Daughter, Trish Jones and husband, Tom, of Burleson; granddaughter, Tracee Palmer and husband, Bruce, of Moore, Okla.; great-grandson, Blane Palmer; sisters, Frances Christie of Wichita Falls and Betty Wood of Las Cruces, N.M.; three nieces; one nephew; two very special granddogs; and many extended family members and friends.
