Cerena Jane Bryan, 94, a retired cafeteria worker at Joshua I.S.D., of Joshua died Friday July 3, 2009 in Fort Worth. Service: 10:00 am Tue. July 7, 2009 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Union Hill Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6-8 pm Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Cerena was born Dec. 7, 1914 in Joshua to James Madison and Rumina Carlock Shipley. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her family and cared for them a lot. Later in life Cerena loved to play bingo and do arts and crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Bryan, parents, daughter, Twila Fowler. Survivors: Son, James Leroy Vaughn and wife Ollene of Rendon; daughter, Shiela Wilson and husband Charles of Cleburne; son in law, Bill Fowler and wife Cookie of Rio Vista; grandsons, Rusty Vaughn and wife Kay of Burleson, Nathan Wilson of Waco, Steve Fowler and wife Karen of Rio Vista, Scott Fowler of Rio Vista; granddaughters, Nicole Frantzen and husband Tommy of Arlington, Lesa Adams and husband Mark of Granbury, De Ann Bailey and husband Bruce of Arkansas; great grandchildren, Billy, Jeremy, Whitni, Brad, Madison, Brennen, Kinadee, Ashley, Kannen, Kennedy, Kastan, Brooklynn, Bryce, Brett, Mitchell.
