Charles Darwin Clark was born in Daingerfield, Texas on October 9th 1934 and passed away on February 25th 2022 at the age of 87 in Burleson, Texas.
He graduated valedictorian from Daingerfield High school and later went on to Arlington State College. Shortly after college graduation, he joined the Army and then transitioned to a career at Oncor for 35 years. Charles loved God, his family and his church immensely. He very much enjoyed coaching, dancing, fishing and spending time with those he held dearest.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents Fannie and Henry Clark as well as his brother Phil.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years Frances, his sons Greg and Paul with his wife Shanna, grandson Corbin and his wife Tori, sister Margaret Terrell with her husband Royce, sister-in-law Margaret Clark and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life and services will take place at the following locations:
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Wednesday March 2, 2022 at First United Methodist Church of Burleson, 590 NE McAlister Road, Burleson, Texas 76028.
Funeral service begins at 2:00 PM Wednesday March 2, 2022, First United Methodist Church of Burleson, 590 NE McAlister Road, Burleson, Texas 76028.
Interment will be Wednesday March 16th, 2022 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211.
In lieu of Flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Burleson.
