Charles Edwin Jones, 90, of Burleson, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019.
Visitation: Monday, October 14, 2019, at 10 a.m. with funeral to follow at 11 a.m. in the Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel.
Ed was born May 28, 1929, in McAdoo, Texas, to Jesse and Lois Jones. He married Barbara Jean Gunn on Sept. 10, 1951. They were married 68 years.
Ed served his country in the Air Force.
He had a lifetime passion for fishing and RV traveling/camping. Ed worked off and on at General Dynamics for 32 years before his retirement in 1989.
Survivors: loving wife, Barbara Jean Jones; sons, Eddie Jones and wife, Cindy, and Allen Jones and wife, DyAnn; grandchildren, Christi McDaniel, Stacy Jones, Macy Allen Jones and Shella Murdock; three great-grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.
