Charles Larry Pearson, 76, of Burleson, Texas, passed away on December 16, 2023, at his family farm located in Madisonville, Texas. He was born on September 18, 1947, in Madisonville.
Charles, also Known as Larry, a Vietnam Veteran, proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard, an aircraft carrier. His dedication and commitment to his military associations were commendable.
After his honorable service, Larry embarked on a successful career as a plumber with Howard Kane Plumbing, where he dedicated 40 years of his life.
Beyond his professional life, Larry had a passion for hunting and fishing. He found solace and joy in nature and cherished the moments spent sharing these passions with nephews: David Upchurch Jr., Jerry Allen, Tabb Hendrick and many more nieces, nephews and family members.
Larry leaves behind a loving family including his, wife Vickie Pearson, Daughters Terri Babbitt, Fanchon Nowlin and Rita Romaker and his sons-in-law Troy Babbitt and Colby Nowlin. Along with grandchildren Andrew Cheatham, Jaden Nowlin, Garrett Babbitt and Lillian Nowlin. He is also survived by his mother, Leoda Stevens, sisters Darlene Upchurch, Bobby Pearson, Robin Gragg, Peggy Scott and his brother Jimmy Stevens.
Larry was preceded in death by his father Charles Edward Pearson and brothers Farmer Edward and Ricky Pearson. Their memories will forever be cherished by those who loved them.
Charles Larry Pearson will be remembered for both his love for family and sense of humor, as well as his service to many. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
