Charles Louis Smith

Charles Louis Smith "Charley" as his friends knew him, was born in Burleson, Texas on July 22, 1940.He passed away on Monday morning July 24, 2023.





Charley was raised in Burleson by his parents the late Claudy and Ruby (Summerlin) Smith.A machinist by trade, Charley retired in 1995and opened his own small engine repair business. He enjoyed classic cars and is locally known for his 1967 Ford F-100 pickup, he bought this new in 1967.



He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia R. Smith and two children.

Son, Ken Smith and wife Sherri Smith of Marana, AZ.

Daughter, Kimberly Welch and husband Aron Welch of Burleson, Tx.

Three granddaughters, Amanda Smith of Mesa, AZ, Morgan and Ashton Smith of Marana, AZ, and one great grandson, Joshua Lasota of Mesa, AZ.
