BURLESON -- Charles T. Yeatts, 87, of Burleson, a retired electronics engineer, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Shannnon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. C.T. was born Nov. 17, 1922, in Godley to Charles Milton and Estella Mae Crozier Yeatts. C.T. was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was a decorated 3rd Army, 5th Infantry, who fought in five major battles including the Battle of the Bulge. C.T. married Elzora Brown on July 13, 1966, in Weatherford. He was a avid golfer and loved family vacations, going to the state fair, Colonial Golf Tournements and working on electronics. C.T. was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Burleson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Kahler; three brothers; and one sister. Survivors: Wife, Elzora "Ellie" Yeatts of Burleson; son, Randy Lee Keel and wife, Bobbie, of Lillian; daughters, Karen Henderson and husband, Woody, of Weatherford, Tiffany Ray and husband, Matt, of Burleson; grandchildren, Angela Furtick, Matthew Ray II, Elynn Ray, Toni Henderson, Tonya Henderson; and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Amelia, Olivia, Dakota, Baylee, Alexis and Talon.
