BURLESON -- Christopher Michael Welch, 32, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 23, 2008, in Tarrant County. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Burleson. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Chris was born April 15, 1976, in Harris County to Michael Welch and Rhonda Rice Welch Humphreys. Chris was a loving husband, father and son. All who know him knew he loved to laugh and loved his friends and his family. Survivors: Wife, Mitzi Welch of Burleson; daughter, Sara Welch; son, Jacob Welch; parents, Mike and Beverly Welch, Rhonda and Terry Humphreys; in-laws, Stephen and Andra Mahan; brothers, Joshua Welch and wife, Amy, Riley Humphreys; grandparents, Don and Sara Rice, Marie and Arby Wager.
