JACKSON, MO. -- Chuck Eaves, 72, of Jackson, Mo., a retired restaurant owner, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson. Interment: Lonesome Dove Cemetery in Southlake. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Chuck was born Oct. 23, 1938, in Napa, Calif., to Benjamin Harrison and Pauline Wherry Eaves. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Chuck was the original owner of the Burleson Dairy Twin. He ran restaurants in Glen Rose, Hamilton and Cleburne. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Chuck enjoyed cooking and writing songs. He attended Marystown Baptist Church. Survivors: Wife, Betty Eaves of Jackson, Mo.; sons, Cary Eaves of Stephenville, Lonny Eaves of Fort Worth, Russell Eaves of Watauga, Charles Eaves Jr. of Jackson, Mo.; daughter, Donna Eaves of Jackson, Mo.; sisters, Sue Eaves of Mesquite, Patricia Foy of Little Rock, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
