ALVARADO -- Claracie Ann Thompson Luttrell Cannon, 64, of Alvarado, a homemaker, died Sunday April 19, 2009, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Brazos Point Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Ann was born April 14, 1945, in Meridian to Charles and Elizabeth Osborne Thompson. Ann was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved cooking, crocheting and being with the grandchildren. Ann also loved to cook for the family, play games with her sister, Linda, and spending time with her beloved dog, "Rowdy." Ann was preceded in in death by her son, Shawn Elliott Luttrell; parents; and sister, Charlcie Lane. Survivors: Sons, Orbra "Dee" Luttrell Jr. and wife, Linda, of Alvarado, John Luttrell and wife, Tami, of Alvarado and Michael Luttrell of Wichita Falls; daughters, Patrica Horton and husband, James, of Alvarado, Melissa Wherlend and husband, Pat, of Byers, Melanie Burchard and husband, Ronny, of Avondale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Doug and Dusty Grisham, Patrick, Michael and Molly Wherlend, Jacob and Jared Burchard and Shawn and Kathrine Luttrell; great-grandchildren, Dalton and Dayton Grisham; brother, Kenneth Thompson of Joshua; and sister, Linda Smith of Joshua.
