Cletha Alexander, 91, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 in Burleson. Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua. Visitation will begin one hour before the service. Interment: 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Bluebonnet Hills. Cletha was born Dec 28, 1922 at Randolph, she married James M. Lee at age 14, and they had 5 children. She married J.D. Alexander in 1958. They had one daughter. Cletha was a hard worker all of her life, always doing whatever she could to support her family. She worked on a farm, drove trucks, tractor-trailers, and school buses until 1959 when she went to work for American Airlines Sky Chef. She retired there in 1988. Cletha was a selfless woman who gave everything for those she loved, and she loved everyone. Her favorite thing to do was to feed people, and the more the merrier. She loved her dogs and cats, playing bingo, and always wanted to look her best. You could never ask for a better wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, or friend. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Martha Ann Lee and Annetta Mae Reaves; her first husband, James Lee; 2nd husband of 35 years, J.D. Alexander; and beloved son-in-law George "Lizard" Lackey. Survived by: 2 sons, Robert E. Lee and wife Debi, Jimmy Lee and wife Mary; 2 daughters, Linda Lou Lackey, Yolanda Alexander and husband Lonnie Green; 6 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 14 Great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends who became like family to her. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Community Hospice of Texas.
