Concetta Arrigo, 83, of Burleson, a retired candy store owner, died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Concetta Maria Arrigo was born July 10, 1926, in New York City, N.Y., to Agostino and Angelina Rizzo Arrigo. She was owner of the Candy Hut in Brooklyn, N.Y. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, cooking and knitting. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vickie Kramer; and a son, Frank Vicari. Survivors: Son, Philip Vicari and wife, Pat, of Greenville; daughter, Cindy Stroud and husband, Wayne, of Joshua; sister, Sally Dietz and husband, Sid, of Levittown, Pa.; grandchildren, Christopher Confessore of Fort Worth, Jesse Confessore and wife, Heather, of Burleson, James Vicari of Austin, Christopher Vicari of Greenville and Veronica Vicari of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Jesse Confessore, Cross Confessore, Cole Confessore, Aubree Confessore, Alyssa Vicari and Hailee Ward; nieces, Linda DelCampo and husband, Cecar, of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Nancy Valero and husband, Ben, of Glendale, Ariz.; nephews, Augie Juliano and wife, Carol, of Long Island, N.Y., Sammy Juliano and wife, Colleen, of Long Island, N.Y., and Victor Kramer of Long Island, N.Y.; and many other family members.
