Concha "Mother" Montanez, 100, passed away February 28, 2018. Funeral Mass: 10AM Monday, March 5th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cleburne. Rosary: 4-6PM Sunday, March 4th at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Concha was born December 8, 1917 in Mexico. She worked for many years as a cook at Joshua High School. Concha was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Montanez; and son, Ben Montanez. Survivors: sons, Paul Montanez and wife, Peggy, Robert Montanez and wife, Mary, Tommy Montanez and wife, Patsy, Luis Montanez and wife, Phyllis, and John Montanez; daughters, Lupe Ward, Cecilia Gable and husband, Ricky, and Sylvia McDaniel and husband, Jamie; 3 sisters; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other loving family and friends.
