BURLESON -- Cordelia R. Davis, 93, a homemaker, died Thursday, June 29, 2006, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Cordelia Rebecca Davis was born Feb. 2, 1913, in Roff, Okla., to David M. and Birdie Moore Garrett. She married Charles A. Davis on Sept. 21, 1930, in Pawnee City, Okla. She was a Baptist and enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004; and a daughter, Norma Sue Greenlee, in 1988. Survivors: Daughter, Charlene A. Thompson of Burleson; sister-in-law, Marie Garrett of Plano; grandchildren, Suzan Pinkerton and husband, Harvey of Snyder, Gary Greenlee of Snyder, Kathryn D. Rowell of Granbury, Athena L. Griffith and husband, Mark of Burleson; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
