Daniel Longley

BURLESON - Daniel Eugene Longley, 80, of Burleson, passed away Sat. April 21, 2012 in Fort Worth. Service: 2 p.m. Friday, at Mountain Valley Chapel. Visitation: Thurs. 6-8 PM. at Mountain Valley Chapel. Gene was born February 17, 1932 in Breckenridge, Texas to Daniel Nelson and Luddie Anna Williams. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Gene proudly served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He enjoyed spending time with family and cooking. He was a lifelong member of Church of Christ and currently attended Burleson Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Longley; and grandson, Cody Waits. Survivors: wife of 60 years, Billie Longley of Burleson; sons, Tim Longley of Crowley, Mike Longley of Cleburne; daughter, Angie Waits and husband Billy of Burleson; grandchildren, Kris Longley, Bryan Longley, Sara Longley, Katy Waits; extended family and friends.
