Danny E. Brown, 77 of Cleburne died Friday Sept. 4, 2009 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 6:00 P.M. Sunday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 4-6 P.M. Sunday prior to the service. Danny E. Brown was born June 15, 1932 in Cleburne to Alvin Buford and Susan Idella Sullivan Brown. He married Amie Jo Burnett on May 12, 1951 in Cleburne. Danny was a 38 year retiree from General Motors, enjoyed boating, swimming at the lake, and telling old stories. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bobby and Louie Gene Brown. Survivors: Wife, Amie Jo Brown of Cleburne; sons, Mike Brown Sr. of Cleburne, Steve Brown of Cleburne; sisters, Alva Nell Few of Fort Worth, Suzanne Cole and husband David of Joshua, Lynne Nell Sells and husband Gene of Alvarado; brother in law, J.H. Burnett and wife Judy of N.R. Hills; grandchildren, Mike Brown Jr., and wife Brandy of Cleburne, Christian Brown of Cleburne; great grandchildren, Kyle, Kamdyn, Korbyn, and Karly.
