Danny Ray Rumsey, Jr.

Danny Ray Rumsey Jr was born in Frankfort Germany January 11, 1974 to Danny Rumsey Sr & Debby McClendon. He passed away Friday night, Dec 1st 2023. And went to his heavenly ranch up in the sky to be with his Heavenly Father.

Danny grew up with his parents, Danny & Deb , his step parents Jack & Cynthia and his 5 sisters. Carol, Julie, Shonda, Kelly, & Tawny.

Danny graduated from Grapevine High School in 1993. Then he moved to Hillsborough, North Carolina and joined the Fire Academy. He later moved back to Texas and married the love of his life Angela. Danny loved his family dearly especially all of his girls. He had his two daughter's Ashlyn & Haliegh. His son in law Tylor & soon to be daughter in law Margaret. He was a devoted husband & father. A great Pops to Emberlie, a giving brother, and a kind uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. He worked for Johnson County Pct 2 for 18 years and loved giving all his guys a hard time. He especially enjoyed going to ride the rzrs up in Oklahoma. Drinking beer and climbing rocks was one of his favorite things to do. He loved to tear up the dance floor with his wife & daughters. They also would go to all the spooky conventions for Angela. Everyone enjoyed his company. He welcomed everyone with open arms and a beer in his hand.

Danny was preceded in death by his father Danny Ray Rumsey, Sr., his Grandparents James and Freda Campbell, and his Uncle Bub.

He is survived by his wife Angela and his daughters Ashlyn & Haliegh, his mother Deborah McClendon, and his 5 siblings.

Danny will forever be missed and will live in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested toy donations Toys for Tots - donation box will be present at graveside and Celebration of life (TBD)
