Darlene Louise Johnson, 77, passed away February 14, 2014, in Fort Worth. Memorial Service: 10:00 AM, Monday, February 24, 2014 at Alsbury Baptist Church in Burleson. Darlene was born April 19, 1936, in Lyons, Kansas to Leroy and Louise Coldberg Schmidt. She lived a life with strength and dignity that the world could see, even if you didn't know her. Her heart and giving nature were inspiring to her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Schmidt; sister, Lois Pate; grandsons, Joshua Thomas Burrell and Travis Adam Wooldridge; great grandson, Brantley Michael Webb. Survivors: husband, Billy Johnson of Burleson; daughters, Jackie Wooldridge-Molla and husband Mahbub of Burleson, Rhonda Johnson of Alamogordo, NM, Frankie Whitehead of Texarkana, Karen Doty and husband Tommy of Joshua, Jamie Killian and husband Maverick of Haslet, Billie Carrington of Diana, Stacey Hughes and husband Jerry of Fairfield, and Tracey Shehan of Burleson; granddaughter, Tammy Haines and husband Chris of Burleson; 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
