Darrell Glenn McKnight, 52, of Joshua, a service writer for MHC Kenworth, died Saturday, July 25, 2009, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: 2 p.m. in Chalk Mountain Cemetery in Somervell County. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Darrell Glenn McKnight was born April 18, 1957, in Odessa to Boyce Alex and Thelma Lee Porter McKnight. He was a bull rider and team pinner in high school. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. He married Judy Carol Jones on April 23, 1999, in Cleburne. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his goats, dogs, horses and cattle. Glenn was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Dewey Gene McKnight. Survivors: Wife, Judy McKnight of Joshua; daughters, Afton and Chalice McKnight of Saginaw; mother, Thelma Lee McKnight of Burleson; stepsons, West Foster and wife, Vanessa, of Ohio, Brian Rayburn and wife, Elizabeth, of Burleson, Greg Radke and wife, Jennifer, of Egan; brothers, Troy Allen McKnight and wife, Paula, of Burleson, Cary McKnight and wife, Faye, of Burleson; 10 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
