David Dewitt

David Dewitt, loving husband and father of three children, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the age of 57.

David was born on August 29, 1963 in North Hollywood, California. Life brought him to Texas where he worked as a pool technician designing pools and spas. He met his wife Shannon in 2012, and they married March 19, 2019. Together they had a loving dog named Brutus that David considered as a fourth child.

David had a passion for sports. He started a tradition with his wife to visit Texas Motor Speedway every year. He was a loyal fan and his love for Nascar, the Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Rangers baseball was known by many.

David will be remembered by his loved ones for his infectious smile and his kind and compassionate ways. He is survived by his wife Shannon, son Bradley and wife Lisa; son Nicholas, daughter Lauren Hudson, his brother Paul and wife Maria, brother Jamie, step-mother Janet Diewold-Mehaffy, and his in-laws Rickie and Dianne Pickett; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
