BURLESON -- David F. "Big Dave" Erb, 69, a retired machinist, died Monday, March 12, 2007, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Cross Timber Baptist Church. Burial: Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. David was born Oct. 4, 1937, in Chattanooga, Tenn., to Wallace Burton and Lillian Avilene Prestwood Erb. He married Janice Rayburn on June 28, 1963, in Burleson. David proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Survivors: Wife, Janice Erb of Burleson; son, Frank Erb Jr. and wife, Amy, of Roanoke; daughters, Angie Eddington and husband, Joey, of Denton and Shelli Fowler and husband, Mark, of Crowley; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Wally Erb, Bradley Erb, Murl Erb; sister, Jean Jennings; numerous nieces and nephews.
