David Clifford Johnson

David Clifford Johnson was born in Nix, Texas on August 18, 1936. He passed away in Fort Worth surrounded by his family on January 22, 2022.

David retired from the cemetery business in 2005. He loved reading the Bible and teaching about Jesus.  He enjoyed watching sports and playing dominoes. David loved being around people. He always had an infectious smile and a positive word for everyone. David had an intense love for his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Merry Eugenia Johnson, his son Lawrence Johnson and his wife Jill Johnson, his daughter Margaret Upchurch and her husband John Upchurch, his daughter Rachel Carranza and her husband Arturo Carranza, and his daughter Gena Johnson. He had 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his mother Jimmie Charlotte Johnson, his father Lawrence Johnson, and 9 brothers and sisters.

David was greatly loved and will be missed by many, He will forever live on in our hearts.
