Debbie F. Thompson, Resident of Joshua for 25 years, passed away July 3, 2021.
Debbie survived cancer twice. She fought till her last breath. She was the second born out of 5 girls. Those girls were known as the “Godsey Girls”. She loved to ride motorcycles with her late husband. They would ride cross country with their two dogs. She was a caregiver, and loved with all of her heart.
Debbie is survived by her two sons and their wives: Ricky and Stephanie Thompson, and James (Jimmy) and Natasha Easley, her nine grandchildren; Lane, Katelynne, Stetson, Kodie, Sara, Erick, William, Taylor, and James Cole. Her granddaughter, Paisley, and her sisters and their husbands: Gloria June Stetson, Honey and Sean Russell, Linda and Fernando Villalobos, Renee Lee and Ronnie. She will be missed by many family and friends.
There will be a memorial and final ride for Debbie on August 21, 2021 at 11am.

Hope Church Cleburne
2125 N. Nolan River Road
Cleburne, Texas 76033
The Final Ride will go from Hope Church to Brazos Point bridge, then to the St. Olaf Church in Cranfills Gap, the last stop will be lake Whitney where Ricky will spread his mother’s ashes. All are welcome to follow.
