Deetta Irene Leap

DeEtta Irene Leap was born May 31, 1980 in New Iberia, LA to Marvis Barras, Jr. & DeWana Williams and passed away July 4, 2019 in Benbrook, TX.

DeEtta was a kind, loving person who always greeted you with a smile. She loved her family, her sisters and her motorcycle. She will be deeply missed by everyone that had the privilege to know and love her.

DeEtta is survived by her husband, Troy Leap; daughter, Karinne Nicole; step-son, Timothy Rutar & wife Korri; grandchildren, Lukas and Evan; sister, Melissa Edsley & husband Dr. Corey Endsley; mother, DeWana Barras Lacour & husband Donald Lacour; niece, Paige Gonzalez; nephew, Jon-Marc Endsley; mother-in-law, Lillie Leap; sister-in-law, Angela Thompson; brother-in-law, Tracy Leap and a host of motorcycle family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvis P. Barras Jr. and father-in-law, James Leap. Visitation is 12:30PM Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home, 3407 SW Wilshire Blvd. Joshua, TX 76058. Funeral service is 3:00PM Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
