BURLESON -- Dennis R. Key, 60, a Political Campaign Sales Manager, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 in Dallas. Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Monday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial: 2:00 P.M. at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Dennis Ray Key was born Dec. 14, 1946. He married Connie Hamilton on June 24, 1977 in Mansfield. Dennis was the first Burleson Chamber of Commerce Vice President. He was also known as the "voice of the Elks" as the announcer of the Burleson Elks football games and athletic events. Dennis also loved golf and sports of any kind. He was a kidney and pancreas transplant recipient and will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother. Survivors: Wife, Connie Key of Burleson; daughter, Courtney Key, Attorney at Law, of Fort Worth; mother, Frances Garner Key of Burleson; brother, Roy Alvon Key of Burleson; sister, Rochelle Hardin and husband Ricky of Itasca; Sheila Key of Ohio; five nieces; three nephews; and seveal cousins.
