Dennis Gerald McClure, 57, of Fort Worth, a teacher passed away Wed. February 15, 2012. Memorial Service: 3 pm Friday Feb. 24, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Burleson. Interment: 10 am Friday Feb. 24, 2012 at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua. Dennis was born July 6, 1954 in Hillsboro to Sugar Bill and Mary Moore McClure. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Dennis was an avid reader and lifelong learner. He loved film, history and the Lord. He was passionate about teaching and was a great example and leader. Dennis also loved acting, genealogy , opera , walking with his wife and anything having to do with his children and family. Dennis was preceded in death by his father Bill McClure.
