Donald Paul Jones

Donald Paul Jones, 80,of Burleson, a retired division manager for Radio Shack passed away peacefully on Friday at home with his family by his side. Memorial Service: 2 pm Saturday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Litchfield, Ill. Donald was born May 27, 1931 in Litchfield, Ill. To Fred Pierce and Hattie Fern Billiter Jones. He married Betty Morgan on Jan. 8, 1956. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Donald had an incredible sense of humor, he was honest, unforgettable and was a great provider. He was a great mentor and adored by all. He loved travelling in his RV with N.U.M.C. He was a former member of the Lions Club, Masonic Lodge, Moslah Shrine, and Toastmasters Club of Fort Worth. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice. Donald was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother. Donald had a quest for knowledge and a zest for life. Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Betty Jones of Burleson; children, Jenny, Jeff, Mike and wife Jane, Jody; wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
