FORT WORTH -- Donald Ray Reighard, 84, a retired architect draftsman, of Burleson passed away Sunday Nov. 22, 2009, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Fuenral Home. Don was born April 20, 1925, in Pueblo, Colo., to Herman W. and May A. Balderston Reighard. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. He married Mildred Conner on March 26, 1955, in Knoxville, Tenn. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Don was an avid golfer and loved spending time with family and friends. He loved being an active part of his church. He was a member of St. Matthew Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Burleson. Don was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Phyllis Sunderland. Survivors: Wife, Mildred Reighard of Fort Worth; sons, Mark Reighard of Fort Worth, Eric Reighard and wife, Debra, of Cleburne; sister, Lois Thomason and husband, Al, of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jake Reighard, John Reighard and wife, Rebecca; great-grandchildren, Jylian Reighard, Steven Reighard.
