BURLESON -- Donald Ward Snider, 86, a retired General Mills Corp. worker in Kansas City, MO., passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2006 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Friday at Calvary Pentecostal Church 700 McPherson Rd. Fort Worth, TX 76140. Burial: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home between Burleson and Joshua. Donald was born June 3, 1919 in Milledgeville, TN. He was a faithful member of Calvary Pentecostal Church in Fort Worth. Mr. Snider was held in high esteem by all who knew him. Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Snider of Burleson; Children, Vaunda May and husband Calvin of Blue Springs, MO, James Snider and wife Freda of Justin, Donald W. Snider and wife Diane of Liberty, MO; step children, Sharon Hyrkas and husband Don of Santa Ana, CA, Dorothy Ruth Atwood and husband James of Bulverde, Rebecca Allsopp and husband Dennis of Irvine, CA, Faith Parks of Vallejo, CA, Jonathan Parks and wife Victoria of Arlington; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
