BURLESON -- Doreen Rene Scott, 44, of Burleson, a homemaker and home school mom, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Bethesda Cemetery in Burleson. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Doreen was born Nov. 2, 1964, in Okinawa, Japan, to Walter and Julia Collie Sarbaugh. She married Donald Allen Scott Jr. on Aug. 2, 1985, in Burleson. She attended Burleson Church of Christ and First Baptist Church of Burleson. She liked to cross-stitch and loved home schooling her children. She will be missed dearly by her family, church, and home school friends. Survivors: Husband, Donald Allen Scott Jr.; son, Timothy Galen Scott; daughter, Elizabeth Christine Scott; brother, Daryl Sarbaugh; parents, Walter and Julia Sarbaugh; mother-in-law, Georgia Scott; brother-in-law, Eric Scott; sister-in-law, Candace Waits and husband, Brian; niece, Erin Clair; and nephew, Jonathan Scott.
