BURLESON -- Doris Jean Geckler, 81 of Burleson, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday April 19, 2008 at her residence. Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials: Cross Timber Baptist Church Missionary Fund. 2560 FM 731 Burleson, TX 76028. Mrs. Geckler was born Feb. 14, 1927 in Tabler, OK., to Alma Elmer and Mayme Elizabeth Wheeler Williams and was raised by Mother Mayo and Paw and Thelma Aubyn "Maw" Wortman. She was a member of Cross Timber Baptist Church of Burleson. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Raymond "Mark" Geckler; brother, Marvin Donald Williams; and a sister, Maida Rose Williams. "Im just apassing through and its been some passing!!" "My precious Jesus, I'm now with Thee." Survivors, Son, Robert "Kirk" Geckler and wife, Bonny of Crowley; daughters, Aubyn Gay Turner and husband, Ron of Eureka, Lisa Gail Morrison and husband, Allen of Palacios; grandchildren, Jeff Turner, Josh Turner, Ashley Hanna, Tammy Hayden, Gina Morris, Dayna Geckler, Micah Geckler, Allen Morrison Jr., Russell Eric Morrison, Taylor Rae Fiscus, Aleigha Christine Galvan, Ryan Kade Fiscus, Arie Lee Morrison, Chris Holiday, Cameron Kirk Geckler; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; numerous cousins and other family members.
