Doris "Marcille" Hewett

JOSHUA -- Doris Marcille Hewett passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Service: 10 AM Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation: 6-8 Friday at the funeral home. Marcille was born on March 21, 1931, in Joshua to Beuna and Chester Carlock. She married Edward Leon Hewett on August 21, 1957. Marcille was the Food Services Director at Joshua Schools from 1968 until her retirement in 1988. Upon retirement she and Ed traveled to many craft and quilt shows. She always had a sweet smile and kind word for everyone. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors: husband, Edward Leon Hewett of Joshua; children; Jonna Falk and husband, David, of Weatherford, Bruce Hewett and wife, Angela, of Godley; grandchildren, Michael Hewett, and wife Courtney, Casey Hewett, Andrew Falk, Laura Falk, Hunter Hewett, Hayden Hewett, Brandon Berry, and wife Marah; great-grandchildren, Madison Hewett, Alexander Berry; aunt, Virginia Weatherly of Pomeroy, Washington; and extended family and friends. Her family would like to express appreciation to the members and staff of Mission Hospice who helped us love and care for her in her last months with us.
