Doris Jean (Blake) Taylor

Doris Jean Taylor, 87, passed away late Tuesday night, May 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 4, 1936, to Carl A. and Beulah J. Blake. She was married to Hal Lee Taylor on October 28, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 21st at 2 pm at Caddo Cemetery with Pastor Shane Gray officiating. A visitation will take place on Monday, May 20th from 6 - 8 pm at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hal Lee Taylor, her parents, Carl A. and Beulah J. Blake, as well as a grandson, Dillon Taylor Hurt, who was taken from us to soon.

She is survived by her daughter Tamira Renee Taylor of Burleson; her son Kevin Lee Taylor of Burleson; Grandson Matthew Sidney Hurt of Burleson; Sister Carolyn Collins and husband Larry of Dubuque, Iowa.
