Dorothy Mae Weatherred

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Weatherred, 76, of Burleson, a retired telephone operator and floral designer, died Sunday December 10, 2006 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday December 15, 2006 in Rose Hill Cemetery, Cleburne. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Burleson. Memorial Donations can be made to Huguley Hospice House, 401 Med Park Circle Burleson, TX 76028 or to the Humane Society of North Texas. Mrs. Weatherred was born August 11, 1930 in Johnson County to Arthur and Winnie Roddy Stepp. She married Joe Weatherred on January 27, 1950 in Cleburne. He preceded her in death in 1985. She was a Baptist. She is survived by her son, Steve Weatherred of Joshua; daughter, Patti Taylor of Burleson; brother, Bob Stepp and wife Sallie Faye of South Carolina; granddaughter, Hollie Schreiber and husband Jonathan; great grandsons, Collin and Cameron Schreiber; several cousins and other family members.
