Earl Mccall

d. March 26, 2006

BURLESON -- On March 26, 2006 Earl McCall Jr. joined his wife Mary McCall, deceased for three years, to his new home in Heaven. He was born in Henrietta, OK. on Feb. 22, 1932. He was a Korean War Veteran for 2 years in the U.S. Army. He spent his entire life devoted to the care of his family. He lost his father early in life and saw many hard times in the depression era, thus making the decision to leave school at a young age to help support his Mother and Siblings. He was a very smart self-made man who owned many businesses and properties over the years. He was semi-retired in his sixties and was able to enjoy traveling and visiting family members in other states. He and his wife Mary together attended Reece Prairie Baptist Church, Burleson for several years. They had been members of Firestone Assembly of God Church, CA. in their early years of marriage. On December 23, 2005 Earl professed to accept Jesus Christ as his Savior while in the hospital. This decision gave him a new sense of hope while he was critically ill. When his body finally gave out he knew for certain that he would spend eternity in Heaven. He is survived by his four children and their spouses, Bryan and Diane McCall of Grand Prairie, Paul and Susan Dodson of Joshua, Bruce McCall of Round Rock, Cheryl McCall of Burleson; four grandchildren and their spouses, Chris Dodson of Omaha Neb., Brance and Michelle Barker of Arlington, David and Nicole Cook of Dallas and Ashlynn McCall of Burleson;, his brother Riley and wife Jonelle Lee of Everman; his brother-in-law Tom Walters and wife Sandy, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Any dontations in honor of our Dad can be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Assoc. and Community Hospice of Burleson, Tx.
