Edith Marie Rockwell

BURLESON -- Edith Marie Rockwell, 83, a retired minister's wife of Burleson, died, Tuesday April 15, 2008 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2:00 pm, Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Squaw Creek Cemetery in Rainbow. Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials: Memorial Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Edith Marie Rockwell was born Aug. 20, 1924 in Waxahachie to Alfred Gwen and Maggie Linton Robertson. She married Ferry "Dee" Rockwell on April 12, 1941 in Fort Worth and he preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2008. Mrs. Rockwell enjoyed painting, sewing, and loved music. Survivors: Sons, Larry and wife, Cheryl, Robert and wife, Patricia, Terry and wife, April; daughters, Linda and husband, Bill, Shelia and husband, C.D.; brother, James Edward Robertson and wife, Dorothy; sisters, Maggie Sineth Thompson and husband, Jeffery, Martha Elizabeth Lindsey and husband, Richard; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
