Edward Walter Jann Jr., 70, passed away, Sunday, October 2, 2016. Funeral Service: 10AM, Thursday, October 6th, Retta Baptist Church of Burleson. Visitation: 6-8PM, Wednesday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Ed was born January 25, 1946 in Athens to Edward Walter Sr. and Mildred (Barton) Jann. He was a very good man who loved his Lord, his family, and his church family. Ed proudly served in the US Navy, and was a Vietnam veteran. He retired from Miller Brewing Company after many years of service. Ed took great joy serving as a Deacon at Retta Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Warren Jann. Survivors: wife, Debra Jann; son, Bryan Jann and wife, Marsha; daughter, Kristy Shipp and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jacob Jann, Ashlyn, Logan, and Brynna Shipp, Trey and Logan Rodriguez; sister, Thalis Jann; numerous other loving extended family and friends.
