FORT WORTH -- Elizabeth Tennessee Pickton, 65, owner of Pro Hair Center in Fort Worth, went home to be in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, May 31, 2007, at her residence. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Elizabeth was born Jan. 3, 1942, in Dallas to Chester Allen and Bonnie Bell Wheeler Neathery. She married Frank Pickton in 1980 in Fort Worth. She was a very loving person who supported many charities local and abroad. She enjoyed bird watching and rescuing animals. She cared more for others than herself and loved the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; and a brother, James C. "Jimmy" Neathery. Survivors: Sons, Raymond Rutherford of Fort Worth and Perry Rutherford of Palestine; daughter, Alicia Rutherford of Dallas; brother, Allan Dale Neathery and wife, Helga, of St. George, Utah; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
