Ellen Loflin

Ellen A. Loflin, 94, homemaker, passed away April 11, 2013, in Arlington. Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Union Hill Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Friday at the Funeral Home. Ellen was born February 25, 1919, in Johnson County, Texas to Madison Thomas and Nancy Jane Fears Young. She was a resident of Texas Masonic Retirement Center for over 6 years. Ellen loved her children, grandchildren and friends. Ellen loved to sew and gardening. She is missed greatly by all, but has gone home to be with her Heavenly Father. Ellen was preceded in death by: husband, Willard M. Loflin; children, Wayne Loflin and Brenda Hutchins. Survivors: daughter in law, Edna Loflin; son in law, James Hutchins; Grandchildren, Becky Garza and husband Santos, David Loflin and wife Linda, Carol Whitworth and husband Kent, Karen Owen and husband Robert; numerous great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
