Emiko Puckett

Emiko Puckett, 61, of Joshua, passed away on June 29, 2017. Visitation: 2-4pm Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Emiko was born September 13, 1955 in Naha City, Okinawa, Japan to Seifuku and Nobuko (Miyagi) Toguchi. She spent many years as a dedicated military spouse and homemaker until her husband, Mike, retired in 1998. The succeeding 19 years, she occupied her time with the family-owned business in Joshua. She developed many close friendships. Emiko was a wonderful, cheerful, and loving "BaaBaa" who took every opportunity to be with her cherished grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by all who were so very blessed to know her. Emiko is preceded in death by her parents and two older brothers, Masahiko and Masanobu. Survivors: husband of 38 years, Mike Puckett of Joshua; son Michael and wife, Angela of Burleson; daughter Tammy and husband, Dan of Surbiton, United Kingdom; grandsons, Joshua and Avery; granddaughter, Anna; sisters, Hisako and Kyoko; and brother, Masakatsu.
