Burleson - Emilio P. Salinas, known to everyone as " Elmo ", entered the gates of heaven Monday, March 27, 2006, as the result of an industrial accident at Thomas Conveyor, Inc., located in Burleson, Texas. Funeral: Friday, March 31, 2006, at in Joshua, Texas at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Further family services and burial will be in Freer, Texas. He was born June 23, 1943, to his loving parents, Emilio and Tomasita Salinas, in Freer, Texas. After military service, he eventually settled in the Ft. Worth area where he raised his family and became a valued and much loved member of the Burleson community. He was a machine operator at Thomas Conveyor, Inc. and a dairy associate at Walmart, holding two jobs as an indication of the love and responsibility he held for his family. Elmo leaves a legacy of love, laughter, belief in God and living by the "Golden Rule ". Survivors: Loving wife Audra Lois Salinas,; sons, Emilio Salinas, Jr., Ricky Salinas, Matthew Gregory Salinas,; step-son, James Blas Taylor,; daughter, Amanda Hall,; brother, Richard Salinas,; sisters, Elma Perez, Margarita Liguez, Maria Elena Medellin and 11 grandchildren.
