Emma Mitchell came into this world on May 31, 2005, and was embraced by the arms of Jesus on October 6, 2024. From the moment she was born, Emma had a special gift for bringing joy to others with her infectious laughter and quirky sense of humor. She had a knack for seeing the funny side of things, and her humor was often the highlight of any gathering.
From the very beginning of life, Emma begun setting the tone for the way she was with others, immediately reaching out to grab her daddy's fingers with both hands at birth. As she journeyed further through life, Emma's kindness and compassion touched the hearts of many and despite the pain and struggles her own life delivered, she was always there to lend a listening ear and offer comfort to others in need, always desiring to heal others who also had broken wings.
Emma will also be remembered for her love of animals, hanging out with her friends, and driving around with the windows down and the music up.
Emma's laughter continues today as it echoes through the kingdom of heaven, a comforting reminder for all who knew her and the light she brought into the world.
Remember when you hear the wind blow, that Jesus called her name, reached out His hand, and said "come, child...today you are free."
Emma was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother LaJuanda (Little) Mitchell and maternal grandparents Richard and Wannie Schneck.
Emma is survived by her father Daniel Mitchell and his wife Brandi, mother Jamie Presas, brother Caelan Schneck, stepsisters Sidney Givens and Wraylie Woods, grandparents Charlie and Lisa Mitchell, great-grandmothers Shirley Little (Mamaw) and Bettye Stevens, stepfather Pete Presas, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________.
