Eric Michael Blanscet

Eric Michael Blanscet passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 at the age of 45.
Eric was born March 17th, 1979, in Fort Worth, Texas to Leland and Margie Blanscet. Eric grew up in Burleson, Texas with his two older siblings, Amy and Jason. Although he always found his way back to his hometown, he sought out the adventure and wisdom that traveling and experiencing new places brought him. Eric had a passion for a strong work ethic and being a provider for his family, which was deep-rooted in the examples set by his father and grandfather while he was growing up. He used these gifts proudly as an electrician for over 20 years and worked his way up to owning his own company. In 2015, he met the love of his life, Terri, and felt that he had finally found his place in life. They married on May 17th, 2019. Together, Eric and Terri dedicated their lives to caring for their two grandchildren, Axel and Luka. Eric adored his grandchildren immensely and found his purest joy in their presence. His fierce, unconditional love and selfless spirit embodies the beautiful heart of his mother, who he treasured so dearly. Eric had a soul that seemed to have covered many lifetimes in his 45 years on this Earth. He showed his love fearlessly with his beautiful words which he gave freely and often. He also knew how to bring laughter to any moment with his one-of-a-kind quotes which were always exactly what the person receiving them needed to hear.
Eric is going to be missed immensely by all who have had the privilege of knowing him but may his soul rest in peace knowing that his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved.

Eric is survived by his wife, Terri Blanscet; his three step-children, Jordan, Breanna, and Carter; his grandchildren Axel, Nova, Maize, Luxx, Declan, Coen, and Luka; his parents, Leland Jr. and Margie Blanscet; his sister, Amy [Tommy] Adams; his brother, Jason Blanscet; and his nieces, Paige and Jessica.
